New digital press service

International newspapers and thousands of magazines. Iberia offers its customers thousands of magazines from all over the world and also international newspapers, in collaboration with PressReader. Through a simple APP accessible from any cell phone or tablet, the company's customers can download the magazines and newspapers they want on their own devices before the flight and enjoy them during or after the flight. This service is currently available in testing phase.

Who can access?

In this first test phase, customers flying with Iberia and including their Iberia Plus number in their reservation will be able to access or purchase tickets directly with the company or access the Premium lounge in Madrid. In a next phase, this service will be integrated into the Iberia.com APP so that customers flying with the company can access the platform more easily.

How is it accessed today

There are two ways to access the app:

Access time

Customers who use the codes that are delivered in Premium rooms, have 24 hours to download what they want. In all other cases, it depends on the cabin you are traveling in and your Iberia Plus level.

Tourist Cabin and Premium Tourist customers: also have 24 hours.

Iberia Plus Gold and Business customers: 48 hours of access.

Iberia Plus Platinum customers. 72 hours.

Infinita and Infinita Prime clients: 10 days.

October 19 is World Breast Cancer Day and we collaborate with various initiatives

Iberia joins the fight against breast cancer, so on October 19, World Breast Cancer Day, the company carries out various actions on board its planes, in collaboration with Solán de Cabras, the Spanish Association against Cancer (AECC), Gategroup and Mahou. First of all, it was decided on this day to allocate all the proceeds from the sale on board of the short and medium-haul flights to the Spanish Association against Cancer. In addition, the aircraft cabins incorporate pink heads and ties with the message "The most important trip is your life". In addition, on every seat you will find an explanatory leaflet that emphasizes the importance of maintaining healthy lifestyle habits and the need for periodic exams to prevent this disease. On the other hand, if there is a domestic flight departing Madrid, upon arrival at the destination the crew will deliver a bottle of Solán de Cabras water, which also changed its iconic blue color to pink on this day. With all these initiatives, we intend to support this cause and make society aware of the importance of preventing this disease which, unfortunately, one in eight women suffers from, because without a doubt the most important path is our own life.
